Default Fenton Headers in 40 car with Columbia

Anyone dealt with exhaust pipe and header clearance on the clutch pedal to valve disengagement linkage rod in 40 with 2 speed? Will Fentons work?

i installed a Columbia in my `37 1/2 ton [same chassis as a `40] and used Fenton headers. i had to mill about .070" off the mounting face of the headers to clear the steering box and i had to modify the clamp-on clutch pedal bracket slightly. i think i had to offset the clamp-on clutch pedal bracket about 3/4" to clear the head pipe. i`ll post a few images later if you want.

I had no problems installing a Columbia two-speed axle in my '40 with Fenton headers.

Pictures really help. Thanks. I noticed the 90 degree vacuum pipe bends on the valve. Mine are straight out with no bend (John Connelly item) I had spoken earlier with the mechanic who installed the Columbia in Mr Orosco's 40. He said the disengagement rod gave him fits while trying to clear dual pipes. I will try to find out a little more about what exactly they used. That's why I asked the Barn, you guys know!!
