Default For fun only... Name this part

I do know what V8 this fits. But its kinda rare. Obviously a trunk latch striker... But what year and model???

Bonus fun points for posting a picture of the corresponding latch!

I will post back in 2-3 days with the spoiler answer.

All in good fun

Karl

PS. If you do NEED one I know who has a few NOS ones (not me).

Not 1940.
Not 1941.
Not 1942.
Not 1946.
Not 1947.
Not 1948.
Not 1949 or newer.

Not Convertible.
Not Coupe.
Not Ford.
And not all of what is left.
