I am sure you’ll be very happy with the Goodyear’s.

Re: Vintage tires- any value?
I just listed the old Allstate tires in the swap meet forum if anyone is interested. I have had a couple of guys send me PM regarding shipping. No way to do that economically so they will have to be picked up in western NC.

Re: Vintage tires- any value?
I just replaced a set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A's on the Mach 1 that I had installed probably 15 years ago. Car always garaged, had maybe 1500 miles on them .
The guy at my front end shop said he was sure they were still good tires, he looked them over real well. I said I was not comfortable blowing down the Interstate at 70 MPH and having one blow out. If you survived that, the car would still have a lot of damage. The Bedford's on the Roadster were put on in the 70's when it was restored. They are rayon tires and look fine. Other than that ugly zig zag Charlie Brown's shirt pattern they are probably OK. But I really do need to replace them, now you have reminded me! No, best to scrimp somewhere else to save a buck. I've seen too many pictures of tires going south on collector cars |

Re: Vintage tires- any value?
you need to list the tires on your local CL. they have no value in being shipped.
