This 1929 cowl with firewall date stamped "8-17-29" is for sale. Would make a great beginning for a rat rod or use it to replace the one you are restoring. It still has the original gas gauge in the tank with the subframe attached. There are no "extra" holes in the firewall as are usually found on most Model A's. It still has some of the original green paint on it but there is plenty of rat rod patina if that's what you are after. Surface rust only; the lower cowl panels are pretty solid with the passenger side having a small blister of rust. I can bring it to the Decatur, Texas Swap Meet Feb 21-23 (north of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area) if you want to pick it up there or it's available for pickup at my home in Georgetown. Give me a call at (512) 8 two 5 - 3369 if interested. Please call between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Central Time. NO TEXTS - if you are a serious buyer call the phone number. *I have already gotten three texts from a spammer in Florida wanting to send a check and "arrange shipping". *It won't be shipped - you can either pick it up in person or meet me at the swap meet. Thanks, Fred
