1939 1940 Mercury Eight Nameplate Script. Appears to have been rechromed. Nice condition. You can see a finish chrome defect to the right side of the "H" and "I" on the bottom script. Also the "Y" differs slightly as well. All mounting pins in tact. Don't think they ever repo'd these pieces? Otherwise please study photos for any potential other issues I do not see. Mounts on front sides of hood or deck lid.
