Default Adjustable seat

Could someone tell me which 30/31 models had an adjustable front seat? Does having it give you anymore leg room?

My coupe has an adjustment knob. Being 6'1" I keep it all the way back. I think coupes are the roomiest in the front seat and 28-29 RPU's are the smallest.

My 30 murray fordor has the adjustment. I am only 5' 10" and I have to keep it all the way back. It only moves about 4 inches.

Thanks for the info, I'm 6'3" and finding that after hip replacement driving my 28 RPU is next to impossible. With a 36" inseam I trying to figure out what model would best, my 29 Business Coupe is only good for short trips, anybody had any luck with removing the package tray in a 28/29 and moving the seat back?

My 31 sport coupe has one. I move it forward when my wife drives it.

I believe the 31 s/w fordor has the most leg room. That's one reason I picked one up to restore. I am 6'2, both knees and right hip replaced. Needed more room. I had a 30 coupe and that wasn't bad but getting in a s/w fordor is much better

The Tudor Deluxe >June 1931 had a adjustable seat similar to the 1932 models. They can be added to standard Tudors. Check Brattons catalog. Also the Victorias had adjustable seats as well.

My 31 Murry sedan has an adjustable front seat that is all the way back plus a couple of inches. If you search on here you should find a thread that explains how to remove the adjusters four bolts and move the bracket so that you only use two of the bolts. I did this a couple of years ago and I couldn't be happier. You only get 2 or 3 inches but when your my size (6'4" and 270 lbs.) it feels like much more.
