Thanks, this summer has been more of a table saw as opposed to a modal A summer... Busy with lots of project on my home... All good. I still have been driving my car a few times a week and she thus far run as starts great... ENJOY your model A day... More wood to rip for me

Thanks Pluck,
Yep, we had a lovely spring day here in the South Coast of Southern Africa. We had a great drive to a local farmers market for coffee and breakfast.
Although I made a note of the International Model A day in my diary, I forgot and drove my C car. Please forgive the over site.

WOW! 9 Guys came in 7 Model A's, DRUG me down the front steps, was ALL over the garage, diggin' through my tools, checkin' out Vermin, airing up my NEW Coker Classic Blackwalls , pokin' all over Vermin!!! Most had never seen him. WHAT A BLAST!! They ALL agreed he is WASHINGTON BLUE.
They're going around to ALL the Club Members' houses. Now, they're around the corner @ Bill Jones' house. They MADE my DAY! The Dog was showing them my "hidden" stuff. They were amazed with my ZIP-A-RAK, nobody had seen one.

For me it was a shaky start, no start, starter switch bad :-( Rolled it out and down a hill and bump started :-) Grandson and I arrived at Nokomis Il model A days! When we pulled in, Mr Rupert said your missing your hood, I said we went to fast and it blew off :-) ( a work in progress. 16 model A's came! We meet Larry Sherderd, he became very busy answering questions about how and such. Met with old acquaintances, and then we had to leave early to get grandson to a soccer game. We left with a bump start and got him to his game on time!

Here are a couple of photos of some of the A's in front of Bill's home. Buster T. met us as we arrived and supervised the parking and checked us out before letting us close to the Guru!

Drove from Green River Utah to Gunnison Colorado. Went over two passes 10,000 feet, beautiful day, no over heating, put many smiles on peoples faces. Does not get better than that. JB

Ironic that it fell on the same day as International Drive Your Studebaker Day, and they had a nice tour planned, so I worked half the night to get my heat shield finished and installed. I didn't hear of any Model A touring plans for today, but the Studebaker club did stop at a fantastic car and sign collection in St Cloud, MN. Our Model A club visited the same place about 5 years ago. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the collection during this trip.

JB,
Gunnison is a BEAUTIFUL PLACE! Looks like the movie, "SHANE" was filmed there. I can still hear the KID, "Shane, Shane, come back"!
We went over Monarch Pass, over 12,000 FT!
Are you the JB, that makes JB WELD? If so, can I get a DISCOUNT?
