Default Running Board Trim

I am putting new running boards from Snyders on a 28 tudor. Looks like the trim hooks over the top and then I have to roll the bottom under to hold them in place. How much do I roll under? Just the ends or the full length?

I use a brake to get the initial bend then two blocks of wood and a couple C clamps

Lay the board upside down on a flat surface to support upward pressure on the trim, use a hard flat wooden mallet to fold the trim tight to the metal board. If you do not get the trim tight it will rattle. I assume your trim is Zink like the original. Using a wooden mallet will not leave any marks on the Zink.
