I have put F100 boxes with short pitman arms in several A's with stock front suspension.
The spindles still touched the axle stops. The turning radius was NOT reduced.
If the steering gear itself is bottoming out before the spindle comes to the axle stop, THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION.

Thanks for the tip, Pete. I will be sure to note that. In any event, I have given up on the idea of using a drop axle and will only look to drop the front end about 2" using Posie's reverse eye front spring.
