Worst "BEFORE" photo
Picked up this idea from Art's comment on another thread about many cars being resurrected from a bad situation. Can't say that my Model A falls into that category, but I bet many of you have some daunting but inspiring "before" photos. Want to share yours?

Re: Worst "BEFORE" photo
Good idea for starting a new thread about this. It would also be interesting if the time lapse between before and after were added in the description. I have a friend with a 51 Hudson convertible that took him 16 years to complete... amazing.

Re: Worst "BEFORE" photo
Looking back, I have absolutely no idea how I ever did this.
I was 13 when I bought the car and 21 years old when I finished it. |

Re: Worst "BEFORE" photo
Here is a picture of my 31 Victoria in 1966. Lucky for me the body and wood was assembled by another Ford Barn member Bruce before he sold it to me. The pictures in primer and completed chassis are as of today. After the roof is installed it will be ready to paint and re-assemble.

Re: Worst "BEFORE" photo
Larry, Yes on the Elkpoint and Kewanee greens. The top and top moldings have been a real challenge on this body. I have tried two different padding materials from two different suppliers and have not been happy with the results. One resulted in a too high fluffed up look and the other had an inconsistent thickness that showed under the vinyl material. And those moldings, they will make you talk to yourself! I am looking forward to you stopping by someday.
