Default Window cranker repair 47 coupe

I picked up a pair of doors for my project. The shaft where the crank handle is rounded off pretty bad. If I can't get the reg out of my junk door w/out killing it is there a way to repair it?

Better to replace it. NORS ones are still available. Check with Regulator Roy 609-828-8537.

Do you mean window riser or vent window crank?

The riser for the main window. I have one in a junk door but I can only get half a crank out of it. Not sure if it's the gear or if everything else is rusted

Doesn't the window crank pin to the regulator shaft? If sloppy handle is the issue, you can line the handle with some strips of aluminum foil to give it a snug fit.
