The reason I asked what state your from is that I have a Ford car bellhousing that would fit up thru 1962..

Look again, the prefix of the block number is more likely C2AE, if it matters.

BTW. the FL - 300 fits the Y Block... I bought one from

Home depot. for $5.50. they are the short version...
that was the least expensive price I had seen...
