'94 F150 E4OD trans control lever
My daughters '94 F150 E4OD trans control lever the cover on the end of the lever has came loose and slides off as far as the OD on/off control wires allow it to. Is it OK to gorilla glue it back or will that make it difficult to repair/replace the OD switch if repair/replacement become necesary?

Re: '94 F150 E4OD trans control lever
The cap is fairly inexpensive and was still a good number from Ford as far as I know.
Part number should be F2UZ-7A241-CA. The little plastic tabs break on them. Sold quite a few thru the years... Last edited by 1942deluxe; 12-15-2021 at 03:08 PM. Reason: more information |

Re: '94 F150 E4OD trans control lever
Thank you fellows for your replies. One more question. How does one disconnect the wires to the OD switch and reconnect/reinstall the switch on the new part and fasten it on the lever? I have AMD and cannot see details very well/ Thank you.

See if this description helps - https://www.fixya.com/cars/t26256583...4_f150_regular
The actual SW connects to a harness end connector . The replacement bezel should snap on at the end of the shift lever. If not get back.

Re: '94 F150 E4OD trans control lever
Thanks guys for the replies and advice. Her husband took care of the problem. He's not much in to working on vehicles so that kinda surprised me.
