Default OT; trip to alaska

Hi All,

I am going to be in Alaska for the next two weeks-Fairbanks specifically for some training. I have at least one thing that I would like to do-go fishing for some salmon. What else is there to do-provided I can get a car to get off base.

Mike

Be sure to visit the Fountain Head Antique Car Museum. It's one of the best in the nation.

We visited Alaska three years ago and went through the Fountain Head Car Museum and CarlG is right. It is a must see museum if you are near Fairbanks.

Artdeco, do you work for the Airforce? Just curious because my wife works for the Department of Defense and your post sounded like you might.

Yep, I am temporarily reassigned to Fairbanks for an exercise. I unfortunately have to go back to The land of smog and bad drivers in another week or so. But! I am going on vacation for a week in Barb down to the Monterey coast! So not all bad.

My wife has spent some time in Dayton and Huntsville, AL at the Redstone Arsenal. She works for USTRANSCOM AQ at Scott AF Base.
