Have a pair National seals #5877 I have had for awhile. 2 questions, is that the correct # for a 1940 rear axle. Handwritten on the box is I believe a
Victor # 49324. Also, they appear to be leather seals. I would plan to soak them in Neatsfoot oil before I use them. Any advice ? Thank you Fordbarners.

Advice? Yeah - buy new seals.
