Default Sweeter the second time around.....

As some of you know, I had a 32 Tudor that had been my Uncle's and been in the family since 1959. Due to job issues and my youngest Daughter's need for Tuition, I sold it a little over a year ago. Shortly there after I landed a new job and my daughter graduates in May.

Oh... and the guy that bought the car found a 5 window he liked better. I bought the car back this morning.

Excellent! These old cars are even more precious when they are a part of our family history.

Hi Jim
Was the car in as good condition as you remember it to be? Man I worked with had his car stolen, a few months later the car was returned to him, and he was surprised at the rust that he did not remember.

Unfortunately, he didn't fix anything while he owned it either. MY list is just as long. Exactly as it was sold to him.

Good for you! I know exactly how you feel. I had a 32 5window back in the early 70s and kept it for about 15 years. For some strange reason, I sold it about 1986. After all those years, I tracked it down and bought it back in 2012. So glad the guy I bought it from(a member here) had bought back his previously owned 32 tudor and that allowed me to buy back mine.
It is sweeter the second time for sure. Now, don't be a dummy and ever let it go again!

This is coming from a guy that never sold his first car purchased in 1958, so at this stage of the life cycle I'm banking that buying it back won't be of any concern, however we never know what hand we hold. Glad it worked in everyone's favor, it makes an ever- more important life story that provided a income source when needed & I'm certain your family will forever appreciate.

Good for you, not many people get a second chance at a car they sold.

Don't let it go again. Just play like it has no value
and keep drooling on it.

I had a very nice '53 F-100 that I wish I had back, sold it 25 years ago. Talked to the guy who put it in a pole barn, actually I drove it in the barn and he has never driven it.Asked him to give me a shot at it if he decides to sell it,he is seven years older than me.Don't think it is ever going to happen as he told me he had it appraised for beteween $50,000-$75,000,even though mice and other rodents have made a home in it. Said that is what they go for on Barrett Jackson auctions. Why didn't I keep it or sell it to someone that didn't go insane.
