1940 Window Anti-Rattler Kit:
I just got a window anti-rattler kit from Carpenters.I noticed the garnish strip has no holes for mounting.Do have to mark for the holes and how do you force the staples through?Do I have to pull the vent assembly out to install the new window channel for top of door?

Re: 1940 Window Anti-Rattler Kit:
I brought mine into the front room, sat on the floor while watching tv to do mine. A very sharp awl to make a hole match the metal. A pair of long nose pliers to press the staple in firmly then folding the staples over. Took some time but was well worth the effort.
Just my .02 worth. Fourdy |
