electronic voltage regulators (EVR)
I'm looking for someone that does the EVR for my 36 cabriolet. I know I can adjust the 3rd brush but would rather find a EVR if anyone out there is still making them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Dan |

Re: electronic voltage regulators (EVR)
I assume you want to replace the cutout that sits on top of the generator? There are voltage
regulators made that replace it, but if I'm correct you still have to use the 3rd brush to to adjust the charging rate. I have a 12v neg ground one never used, but the charging rate has to be put at only about 10 amps if you are using a 6v generator. terry |

Re: electronic voltage regulators (EVR)
Fun Projects doesn't make them any more but there was someone who could do the conversion to EVR. A conversion to a diode is still available but doesn't offer regulation.

Yes looking to replace the cut out with a EVR. Several vendors list them but all are "Out Of Stock". Just wondered if there was someone here that may be able to help. Thanks Dan |

Re: electronic voltage regulators (EVR)
There is a fellow in Alberta who posts on VFF who is making them apparently. They are for Model
A's but may also work on later generators. Just do a search for EVR on that forum. |

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with either VFF or MTFCA. Thanks Dan |

Re: electronic voltage regulators (EVR)
For VFF you have to change net to com, this site will not let you link
to VFF. |

Re: electronic voltage regulators (EVR)
There is a note on that site's home page that the EVR's are now for sale by "30TUDOR" for $80. I use the same type on my Model A and it works great. Not sure if he has posted here previously.
