Default 1937 Ford Tudor Seat mounts?

I had the floor replaced in my 37 and now realize that any brackets or braces that the seat would have bolted into are long gone. I looked in my EV8 37 Restoration book but can not find what would have been on the underside of the 37 floor that the front seat would have bolted to. Does anyone have a picture or description? I can fab something but wanted to know what would have come from the factory. Macs has 38-39 "floor stiffeners". Is that what the 37 had only with different dimensions?

Not sure this is much help, but these are the 33-34 floor supports. The go under the floor in the locations shown (I have them on top of the floor marking their location). The seat tracks bolt through the floor and brace when they are in place.

Thanks Jseery. I have similar issue on my 34 coupe so your pics really help. I wasn't sure if they were full width. I will probably have to fab something.

I removed these from the original floor panels, that was a job! There are an unbelievable number of spot-welds on them.

I wish the guys that removed old floor would have kept it for me. I swear they don't let anything lay more than 24 hours.

I guess I will weld some kind of support system under the floors before I undercoat it.

Here is a photo of the bottom side of a 1937 Ford floor pan that I just removed. If you need a closeup maybe I can get one for you tomorrow.

Nospartsman, That would be terrific if you could shoot the front seat mounting area. Thanks!

I think it is a cage nut type set up. For my 1937, the seat bolts screw right into the floor.

I'll try and get a photo for you this week.

I'm a day late but here's the photos of the seat stiffener braces for the 1937 Ford front seat. The longer brace is toward the front, it's about 18 long, the rear brace is about 12 inches long, each has one cage nut. The front brace is a shallow channel, the rear has a raised edge on one side only. You are looking at the drivers side of the floor pan, the right side of the photo is the front of the car. If you are not doing a show car and just want strength, just use some type of channel.

Thanks nospartsman. I assume those are spot welded on like the 34. I will have to fab something up. Maybe time to think about seat belts as well to make the wife happy.
