I've seen where the mats sometimes need to be trimmed.

I was at Home depot just yesterday and they sell burlap. As mentioned fabric stores and upholstery supply places stock it too.

Cool Hand,
Make your shorts out of burlap also. A bit scratchy on the sit down, but you can't beat em for wear.

Naw, that may be good in the North Dakota cold winters but I think they would look like


Now back to floor mats. I have some heavy aluminum foil that I am going to put on top of the foam to reflect the heat. Maybe it would work better to cement it to the bottom of the floor mat too. It would keep the foil from ripping in addition to strengthening the rubber mat.

I've read that foil needs an air space to work for reflecting heat.

I was thinking that the foam rubber would provide that air space between the foil and the steel floor.

Garden centers often have burlap as well as some craft stores. You won't need much.
