Radial tires
I know this has been discussed before but wanted to give my experience. First off I drive a 1930 Tudor. It is pretty stock other than FSI ignition and an alternator (6v). I have put 4000 miles on the car this year so far. I needed to get new tires and didn't want the the cheap tires. I decided on radials and ordered 5. Now it has only been about 125 miles but I love them and there is no comparison with the ride and handling.

I think whitewalls add a higher level of class

Re: Radial tires
I happen to agree ! I am running the same tires on my ‘30 Tudor and love the look. I drove the car very little on the old bias ply tires so I can’t compare the before and after but I haven’t found anything to complain about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Radial tires
Seems like tubes for the radial tires are hard to get now though?
Was looking for some radials til I heard about the tube issue. |

Re: Radial tires
I just ordered through Coker for radials for my 28. Backordered until December.

Re: Radial tires
I have been thinking about them but I currently have plenty of life on my WW Firestones. The only problem with radials is they do not hold up like Bias Ply. I have no problem riding on 10 plus year old Bias Ply but radials tend to get belt separation around 10 years. If your going to drive them out in 10 years it's a no brainer in my opinion.
