Have it re-cored
with a new 3 row big tube (5/8) replacement. Better "dwell time" (coolant flow in the tubes) and more fins per inch. AND the biggie is better airflow. Price is about the same and dimension wise [about] same thickness as a 4 row.

I started out old school (4 rows) and my radiator shop sold me on 3 row big tubes. Lot of reading out there about shedding the BTUs (airflow and coolant speed in the tubes.
