'31 Dlx 55B
Do all '31 55B Dlx's have the 'indent' firewall? What about those sold in Canada which did not usually use those firewalls in its production? They may have used the imported US body as they did on some other types.
I have just moved to a rural area & know of one here ; '31 types are uncommon in NZ. Thanks |

Re: '31 Dlx 55B
I don't have much info but Canada produced a Deluxe Tudor in 1930. Obviously it had to be a basic Tudor with deluxe trim and cowl lamps. Ford in the USA introduced the Deluxe Tudor in July 1931. It had many special features including different floor rails to support the late Victoria/Convertible sedan type seats.

Re: '31 Dlx 55B
My Canadian built Tudor was last licenced in 1955 before I got it. It has cowl lights and also had a rear backrest with a fold down armrest. Lots of people say it didn't come that way but when we took the inside trim apart the material that was left behind the trim sure looked alot like the material on the seat back. I still say it was/is a deluxe tudor.
