Flywheel & Housing Variation Measurments
Checked Housing measurements with dial indicator. 12 o'clock showed .026, 9 o'clock showed .029, 3 o'clock showed .027 & 6 o'clock showed .022.
Checked flywheel measurements with dial indicator on the engine side of the flywheel and got .002 variation. Checked flywheel measurements with dial indicator on the cut down side (lightened flywheel with a V8 pressure plate). It showed .006 variation. I question this last figure. Is it acceptable? John |

Re: Flywheel & Housing Variation Measurments
It looks as though you have .007" on the housing which is fine.. I question the flywheel measurement also.. Its off I bit more than I would like.. However,, the question I have to ask is,, was the crank end-play taken out on these flywheel measurements ??

Re: Flywheel & Housing Variation Measurments
I thought you didn't need to worry about the 6 o'clock so only .003 off
