Re: Horn rebuild question
Unless the horn is in really, really bad shape, it can be returned to service with minimal parts/expense.
Clean it up, oil it up, make sure the diaphragm is clean and you use two good gaskets, one on each side of the diaphragm, make sure your brushes and contacts are all clean. Loosen the adjustment and let the horn spin, oil, spin, oil, spin, oil, then adjust.

Re: Horn rebuild question
Bob, that is not what I see in Andrews book or on my horn. Wires to brushes have round terminal ends and look like they go between brush holder and motor frame? Andrews does not show the parts I am asking about, but They were in my box of parts and clearly are part of Brattons rebuild kit? Greg

Re: Horn rebuild question
Ok, I believe they are the tension bus bar like Bobs pic, appears mine was just wired like the Andrews pic...directly to the motor frame and brush holder. I will give that a try.

Re: Horn rebuild question
Thanks Bob! Indeed, mine is clearly not wired that way. I will get out there in a bit and see what I can do. Greg
