1937-1941 Pickup Box Bolts

Was cleaning up bags and boxes of old screws/nuts and bolts yesterday and came across some of the original box bolts from my '39. These are the ones that attached the box to the frame. I don't think these are readily available and wanted to post in case someone looking for these has questions about lengths. I didn't include the tapered ends of the middle ones in measurements but did have one of the angled spacer for the kickup area to give a reference for that. The reason the door handle is in the photos is because the shaft is the size needed to serve as a tool to remove these bolts as well as the anti-chatter rod bolts that have the square drive where the rods attach to the frame.

You can buy any shape or length of bolts from McMaster-Carr
or Grainger. They come in steel or Stainless I always use SS

Michael Driskell may have some use for this information since he now has the Ford Bolt business. I was recently at his business and I can tell you the bolt inventory and his knowledge of Ford bolts is very impressive.

At one time Roy N. had the long carriage bolts for sale, not sure if Michael has any of those left. I have a repro box with the wood floor so not original from the factory. Wanted to post this is case someone is looking to do an exact factory box install.
