Default Pick up seat options

Have you replaced your 30/31 pick up seats with bucket seats?
If so, what fits?
Thanks

Some use seats out of a Dodge Caravan. Others compress the seat back springs or make a new cushion out of foam.

I have Jeep CJ5 seats in my 31 CCPU. They work great.

Thanks Carl,
I am not very familiar with Jeeps, do you know about what year seats you are using?
Thanks

I actually bought new replacements on Amazon. They are made by Smittybilt, but Amazon was the same or less price and had free freight.

Any other options out there?

While not bucket seats, I've been told that CJ5 bench seats fit nicely as a replacement for the stock seat.

I have '74 Mazda buckets in my '28 roadster pickup. The main reason is the seat backs are very thin & give you more legroom, plus they're very comfortable. Yes, they've been in there for a very long time.

Thanks Ray. That's good to hear ---- I'm all in favor of anything that will give me more room. I would guess that the odds are slim of coming up with a pair of '74 buckets today, but I've got time to search.
