Re: new 13922 Zenith carb instruction sheet
My indented firewall '31 is still using the 'ol carb side sediment filter/bowl with this carb. Thats why I got confused earlier. I guess my timing is still off or the jets are a little clogged because I still seem to be overheating. Humm...

Skeezixx, an earlier request to you for info on the air filter you pictured went unanswered. Could you describe it? Thanks.

Re: new 13922 Zenith carb instruction sheet
Hi Guys; Dropped in from the HAMB to see if I could find some advice/help from this forum. I had my "B" powered roadster out on the streets for the first time this past weekend and encountered a problem with a stuck open float /needle valve. I did write the tech guy at Zenith today but no reply as of this posting time. I'm running two of these carbs and have encountered the lint ball in the needle seat on first attempt at start up. The sticking carb problem keeps happening so it is going to take more than tapping it with the handle of a screw driver. It seem to stick after it warms up. I'm running a small, low vol. elec. fuel pump on it but I think I will switch over to the stock "B" pump that I have.
Thanks for posting the info !!! What would we do without these forums? Ron |
