1935 Ford Frame
Hi everyone, I am looking for drawings or pictures with dimensions for the holes to attach the brake and clutch pedals to my 1935 Ford Coupe. The frame has been restored but the holes for the bracket are missing. If possible also the holes for the bracket of the steering gear. Thank´s

Re: 1935 Ford Frame
On my 1937 chassis, I used the hole pattern from the right hand X member to locate the oval hole for the pedals on the left side after repairs. Three of the pedal bracket mounting holes still existed, so I used the pedal bracket to locate the forth hole. Does your X member have the holes for RHD pedals or has that side been modified also?
Another pedal hole enlargement hole project gone horribly wrong. That is the way I received the frame, I am not claiming that modification. Note the frame is upside down in the photos. Last edited by Zeke3; 11-29-2021 at 06:27 PM. Reason: Added photos |

Hey caddy58 .....Pictured below is a '35 chassis. Look at the lower portion of the "X" rail seen at the bottom, left part of the picture. That is the DRIVER-side "X" rail that the pedals would mount on. You'll see THREE larger holes on the vertical surface in that picture. The large hole toward the LEFT-most side of the picture is the location of the original pedals. Note that there are FOUR smaller BOLT holes surrounding that larger hole. Those are the four bolt holes designed to hold the 1935 brake/clutch pedal bracket. Hope that this helps. DD |

Re: 1935 Ford Frame
Many thanks for the help. The x-member was completely cut out of my frame. a good body worker has copied this part, but he does not know the exact position of the holes. can someone please measure the holes for the screws?[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG]
