I am visiting in the UK at the moment and it seems to me the UK prices are, US prices + shipping + import duty + profit + UK VAT = 3 X US prices
Example, a set of Model T front wheel bearings quoted this week is about $240 US(£170). The same set in the UK, I eas quoted £350($486US)
Please correct me if I am mistaken and please give us the names of the UK vendors.
I sold a 1930 Tudor to Frenchman living in Germany. He bought stuff in UK and it was much cheaper then in USA. I will ask him the suppliers name.
And I have to correct you : NO import duty and NO UK vat for us European !! when we buy in UK. Again ; as long as there is no Brexit.

3.6rs,
Yes, I understand no import duty within the EU. But read my statement again. I said, US price+shipping+import duty(from the States to the UK)+ + +.
I suspect these parts all come via the US which doubles the landed price, not only in the UK and EU, but all over the world.
Regards
Chris

from time to time

I will have enough parts to order // every 6 Months or so//

I order my parts in the US by mikes macs brattons or snyders

best Quality best Price.... addition 35% (customs and fedex) > parts 600 $

a simple way
