Realization
I realized something today. It seems like every time I get up from sleeping or take a break from doing something else, I immediately open up the laptop and go to the Ford Barn. I was becoming concerned about spending so much time on this thing when I could or should be doing something else. And then, I figured out something. I can’t type or think worth crap for awhile after waking up and have no business doing anything else until I can do those two adequately.
I wonder how many screw-ups and mistakes I’ve avoided making on my A by sitting here in my recliner typing away. It was like a light bulb went off over my head, and a little voice said, “You are not wasting time, you are using time.” Thanks again Ford Barn, Mike |

Re: Realization
Are you sure that its a good thing for that light bulb to go OFF? Shouldn't it go 'ON'?

I had been watching some of these metal shaping how to videos. And then I got a suburban that had a ton of rust hiding under the factory z71 ground effects kit and it needed some patches. These videos helped with a bunch of small ideas in them I could apply to my pieces. Now I want a bead roller and english wheel. https://www.youtube.com/user/lazzemetalshaping |

Re: Realization
I’m pretty thick-headed so when I have an epiphany, the light bulb has to go off with a BANG to get my attention. Hell, if it just went on, I wouldn’t see it and I’d just wonder why I could see the computer better for awhile. Then, it would go off and I’d be none the wiser.
So there, Mike |
