Jack has a good point. A new engine will have more friction leading to running hotter. Ford recommended breaking in a new engine at 25 mph for 500 miles.

So should I have a thermostat in it?? None of my other cars have one maybe they should I’m not sure ??

Thermostat ? No, it doesn't need it. They didn't come with them.
But, if you want one then by all means install one. |
