Commonsense Fasteners Side Curtains
Would like info from folks with original (i.e. unrestored) open 28 vehicles re: commonsense fasteners (side curtain twist fasteners) mounted to the perimeter rails of the top irons
do your fasteners show evidence of having been installed and then painted black along with the top irons or did they remain shiny nickel plate (no paint)?

Re: Commonsense Fasteners Side Curtains
I have a '28 Roadster and the twist fasteners (two each side up front facing inside) are plated and are probably screwed into the irons which are wrapped with top fabric. All the other plunger and socket fasteners are also plated. Harold Parizek
