I put a glob of heavy grease on the ring gear and turn the engine over with the hand crank while Deb watches for the grease to come around . Usually the grease will pick up the bolt . If the grease doesn't pick up the bolt , I just leave it . I've never had a problem . I have often found bolts that had been in the flywheel housing for years before I even got the model A .
