Hey Lawson, you can run your Flathead on vegetable oil, only trouble is, your truck will smell like French Fries going down the road...

Saw many electric motor equipped old cars at a car show in Seattle a few months ago.

Nothing wrong with a little levity sprinkled into the conversation in my opinion. Lawson is a quick wit and a pundit who enjoys a little pungent satire now and again, and, I for one get a kick out of his posts. If you only want specific info, pick up a shop manual...

When My Dad was a P.O.W in Germany (1944-45) , the germans had converted a truck which used wood as it fuel. he rode in it a few times! They needed the gasoline for more urgent purposes!

As usual, you are the one whose 'puckered up' Alan, its not me. I'm not the one with the problem every time someone post something that's not akin to the Holy Grail... of Henry Ford . You need to relax and accept the fact that not everyone who post here is overly concerned with political and/or Ford related correctness... As I said, a little levity never hurt anyone. If you don't like something, move on to the next post... maybe it won't be off topic... LOL

Well, I just did something I should have done a long time ago. I put a user name on my ignore list, and I invite him to do the same with mine. I doubt if either of us has ever had a nice thing to say about the other, so maybe we can both have a pleasant experience on the Barn from now on!

The ignore list can be found under the User CP heading at the top of the page.

You'd better watch out Marcus, if your not on topic you might end up on Alan's ignore list... But, that could be a blessing in disguise... Hope you can make it to the "Barner's Bash". Vic
