Default Top Wood 1939 Tudor

Hey guys - Putting my '29 Tudor top wood kit back together and came across a problem that was not noticed at tear down. The header cap does not come all the way back to the steel on the bottom. About 3/4 inch short which leaves the wood open to the weather. The header had been replaced crudely many years ago, so there wasn't really to much information to be gained from that piece.

The wood kit from Snyder's was a very nice piece.

Thanks ahead for your help!
Phil
