Default MARVEL SCHEBLER Carburetor

Hello,
Do someone know this MARVEL SCHEBLER carburetor on my 40 Ford Deluxe? Have anybody experience with this carburetor? This is a new old stock carburetor.

Interesting. Perhaps a German product?

Marvin-Schebler made replacement carburetors for the Model A and I believe this is what Sears Roebuck and a few other outlets sold. They have proven popular as replacements for the stock Zenith carbs - better performance and gas mileage.

This is my carb.

The inlet diameter is the same as Ford carburetor.

I would love a pair of those on my Navarro Universal Dual. They would sure get the local flathead "experts" talking.

Here’s 2 NOS I have actually have a third somewhere and maybe in its original box will look tomorrow. The neck for air cleaner is smaller than Stromberg. It’s only 2.312. The two original Edmunds oil bath air cleaners on them are the correct size for these carbs. I have two originals for Stromberg carbs somewhere also.
Oh they are sitting on a double throw down rare pre-war Edmunds water heated risers for a V8/60.

There was all sorts of aftermarket options for fords since demand was there...seller adapted and sold what they had.
I have a few nos marvels in their boxes to.
They usually had a combined 3/4 bolt multipattern base so could be installed in many different vehicles.

Do they fit onto 1932 to 1933 Ford V8 single throat manifolds.

Not the universal base for the 2 barrel...but think they had singles to.

I have Fish M7 carburetors.

Your carb is a direct replacement for the Holley 94. The others appear to be more of a universal replacement. They made a few different models, including updraft carbs.
