Saw this on the SU/Minnesota bowl game today.

I got my '63 Chebby on the road in 2004. I put a new Costco battery in it. I drive it a few hundred miles a year and put the car away for the winter. I did install a "green knob" cutoff switch. Each spring I tighten up the cutoff, get in and crank the engine. As soon as there's gas in the carb, it starts. Nine years so far on that battery.
