Who sells the best Exterior Door handles. Bought some from Snyders and they suck. Been trying to modify one to make it work for two days. I am done, going to send the other one back. Have Mac's latches. They seem to be alright.

Any reason why you don't want to restore original handles? They are very plentiful, -and there is a former Texan now living in the Dakotas that specializes in restoring original handles if you choose not to restore them yourselves.

The pass side is a repop that isn't worth messing with. The driver side is stainless which looks to be original, on a scale of 1-10 an 8. Didn't know they could be restored. Would a search bring up results. Is the gentleman you referred to on the forum?

I would also be interested in good sources of 31 handles. My old handles appear to be a chrome shell that used to be filled with something, probably soft iron, that has long corroded away.

My intent was to get new repros - if a good source can be found.
