Default Carb to intake gasket

I have checked the normal parts supplier and no one has the copper gasket. Does anyone know who has them? Steve

I don't use copper carb intake gaskets, had them bind and caused mounting ear on carb to crack...

The main thing is to make sure the mating surfaces are flat. Far more important than what gasket you use.

I have always heard to use the paper/cardboard gasket. Just make sure the mating surfaces on the carb and intake manifold are flat. I think one reason is there is less chance breaking the ears.

Your car, what ever works for you is OK with me.
