Anybody REALLY Know This Kiwi
Many of us know that Tony is "involved" with race cars, but just HOW involved is he really? A little blurb about KiWinUS that I happened across. This guy knows some stuff, boys and girls. DD

Re: Anybody REALLY Know This Kiwi
I visited Tony, aka KiwinUS, a few years ago, and was impressed with his collection of cars, parts, rare speed equipment, and his knowledge of Flatheads.

Re: Anybody REALLY Know This Kiwi
Greetings again KiwiTony! Way past due acknowledgement of your accomplishments - but they failed to mention you are a genuinely nice guy, also! Bringing the Truckstang to the Mustang Museum Grand Opening on 17 April: hope to see you again!

Re: Anybody REALLY Know This Kiwi
Yes, Sir: that it most assuredly is - thank you for posting (I am "posting challenged!") 1990 Mustang LX converted in 1990/91 as an inticement to trigger Ford into bringing back the Ranchero: They were very interested, and John Collette (Chief of SVO) sent a very nice note sating "I wish my Engineers had thought of this,"....... However, Ford was long past the Foxbody in the development, styling and research departments, so the Truckstang now has an original 66k miles, relegated to show car status.

Re: Anybody REALLY Know This Kiwi
Boy, that looks a lot like an '82 Rampage I had. It was derived from a front wheel drive Omni and was one of the handiest vehicles I have ever owned. The down side is that the were very rust prone.

Re: Anybody REALLY Know This Kiwi
Tubman - lots of folks comment that looks like a Rampage or a Subaru Brat or a VW PU, but it is a 5.0 Liter Mustang. I don't want to hijack this thread about a truely nice guy and living legend: if anyone is interested is build details or otherwise about the Truckstang - send a note to [email protected] and we can talk. Meantime: good on ya, Mate!

Re: Anybody REALLY Know This Kiwi
Not trying to denigrate the guy or his skills at all. The similarity is striking, as you yourself have affirmed.
