It Don't Get Much Better Than THIS!
For the few folks here that can actually appreciate a unique and REAL, flathead-powered early-days hot rod, I came across this '27 T over on the H.A.M.B. It's an un-restored time capsule that was originally built in 1955 on a shortened '32 chassis with a '47 flathead and column shifter, along with all the "right" parts. It was recently acquired by Mark Moriarity of Minnesota, who has a most-interesting collection of "unique" things on wheels. I just had to share this one! Click the link below for more info and pics if anyone is interested. DD

Thanks for sharing, a very nice combination. I just could not do that with my 26 Fordor.

'26-'27 tall T coupes are real cool. Used to see a lot of them in the '50s and '60s. There's one out here in my area running a Pinto 4 banger.

Checkboard was common on early hot rods. Period correct doesn't alway match modern taste!

I like the black "T" coupe.
A member here on the Barn, "Fourdy" has this little "T" coupe with a v/8 flatty. It's also a super nice looking car. Click on Pic to Enlarge

Thanks for the link DD. Really cool stuff. I often thought about(dreamed) of building a "T" with a 6 inch top chop.

Hot rods aren't my thing but some of them, like the above, are really neat looking. I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of the 34 coupe with an Ardun conversion in it that I saw at Safeway yesterday.
