Lookin' good there Phil, I can't wait to see you, Chuck and the '39 CS at the Florida "Barner's Bash". For now, let's see some more photos of the '39.

I agree with John - I won't be able to recognize you, thinking you are Vic since he has the same/similar car! Pics please ....

The car came from the same gentlemen as my 46 Merc.(a 82 year old federal Judge). It has the meanest set of pipes I have ever heard on a Flathead Ford.It has Fenton cast iron headers and Cherry Bomb mufflers,Wow what a sweet sound, pops when you leave off on the gas and really carries on going down hills.Ah sounds of the fifties!!

X2 on the sound. My coupe has Fentons and cherry bombs too. Love that note.

You guys would hate my pickup. When I had the exhaust system built the guy asked what I wanted it to sound like. I told him I want people to see it go by not hear it.

Shortly after that I took a load to the dump and when I pulled up to the pay station the young man leaned out and asked "is that thing running? I can't hear it". My reply, "Yup, it's running" his reply, "cool truck man".

To each his own.
