A lot of advice above.

Slow turning while hot. I agree with
1. cable size. The bigger the better, at least #1.
2. connections. Could well be a poor connection, especially at a ground.
3. bad starter. Starter could be dragging when warm. [ even new or recently rebuilt]. I'd recommend a draw test on it while hot.
