Default Two Pacific NW land speed race cars are stuck in Australia

What happened ; the Chinese virus quarantine caught the cars there. The owners got out on one of the last flights to the US. The cars are safe, but when racing will resume is unknown. The Australian racing venue is large and remote. Newc

I'm sure it will happen. We live in a world of patience and compromise now. Well we did before too.

When both cars were sent there the owners biggest fears at the time would the Australian salt flats be dry. Knowing one of the owners Jim Lindsey I questioned the idea and expense involved around 15 k. The reasoning was since the salt conditions here in the US is very poor the salt overseas is still great so the gamble was worth it. Then the virous hit and Australia shut down. At this point another year will pass before those cars return home. The Australian Speed week happens in a few months if things don't change its not looking good at all for the event to take place. The Target 550 stream liner is one of the cars and Jim's lakester is the other.
