Default 1955 ford F100 with 239 eng carb ID

Hi Everyone: I am New to the Ford Barn and need some help identifying the Ford carb on my 1955 later edition EBV 239 Y Block. The only ID on the carb is the Ford Logo and Model No. E-6. Both are embossed in a circle the bowl chamber of the carb. I haven't been successful in finding anything on the forum, or, on the internet. I would appreciate any help anyone can provide.

According to my old Holley catalog/manual it shows the EBV carb used on the '54 F100. Unfortunately it doesn't show the model number for '55 F100's. Just the heavier '55's with governor carbs.
If your carb has an E6 on the drivers side of the bowl, it may be for a '56 272. Pictures might help some too.
What number is cast on the back side of the carb about halfway up ? It's either a 94, 1 or 1 1/16.

Thanks, Sal. That Number is a 1. The carb favors a Holly 94, but, I don't know. I would like to rebuild it, if I knew which carb to order a kit for.

The kits these days are kind of universal. One kit will fit all years from '39 thru '56 Fords. You might want to spend just a few dollars more to get a kit from Daytona in Florida with a quality power valve. There have been issues in other kits with the power valves leaking. Or get a less expensive kit and get a good power valve from Charlie ny on this site.
