is this distributor unique to only 60 h.p. engines, or does it fit others?

The v8-60 distributor is the same as for the 85 & 100 HP engines. Not unique in application.

And the 60 is why the three bolt distributors have four bolt holes! The 60 and 85 engines use a different array of three from the selection.
