Rainex
Just a reminder to be careful when using rainex,I left the bottle on the scuttle of the 33 as I was getting some stuff out of the tool box, it fell over and spilled some out onto the cowl vent ,it’s better than any paint stripper I have seen, took the paint clean off,
The 33 is in two pack but what quality I don’t know. We are away for a week or so in the 33 ,yesterday we went exploring in the bush again, found some old ford stuff, Lawrie |

Re: Rainex
Did the same, squirted some onto a paper towel and set the container on cowl. It leaked some out of the lid and ran down bottle and left a lasting impression.

Re: Rainex
Generally the alcohol that's in the Rainex will only attack lacquer paint. ( Nitrocellulose or Acrylic)

Re: Rainex
I have been looking for a good paint remover that won't affect chrome. I will have to try Rainex. Brake fluid didn't work that well.

Re: Rainex
I'm a big Rainex fan, and all my hobby rides have been in lacquer. This is good to know - I will be very careful henceforth.
