Light relay in 1930 model A
I'm in the process of putting a new light wire harness in a 1930 model A, and it has a monstrous dual pole relay inserted between the steering column assembly and the lights. The relay looks like it could be original (it's been there for quite awhile anyway) but the mounting bracket for it does not look original. I have removed it and plan on installing the new wire harness directly to the lights ala the original schematic. Is this a good idea? The headlight assemblies are all new and the system is still a 6v positive ground.
I'd appreciate an educated word on this y'all. Thanks. |

Yep, no fuses or relays came on any Model A from the factory.
