Hi, Jaan! Cabriolet-specific parts can be difficult and expensive to find and purchase...although they're out there, it does require lots of patience and knowing exactly what you're looking for. I would consider joining the Cabriolet Club if you haven't already, where you can post an ad with all of your requirements and get lots of feedback and information from Cabriolet owners. Another good resource might be the "Cabriolet Lovers" Facebook group...join the Group and post your questions and what you're looking for. Many good folks in both who will help. Hope this assists you! --Don

Windshield frame is a regular production frame that has been plated. You DO NOT want to get a cabriolet frame replated as the rust will come though fast.

Your best option is to spend the money for a quality rust free frame from a rust free area. Then have it replated by a reputable company. Keep in mind the back side of the frames were a satin black. Only the front and edges were left in exposed chrome. Technically the frame was plated with dull nickle and only the front was buffed out. So before paint the back side would have been a dull nickel color like the back of the bumpers and the recessed area on the landau irons.

All cabriolet were chrome plated.

To match the frame the windshield slides were also chrome plated which all passenger cars were nickle. Its all in the JS.
